Documentation

Guides for running work orders, generating documents, and managing your organization.

This is the manual for the platform: opening a work order, moving positions through the shop, producing the paperwork that goes with them, and keeping your records and your people in order.

It assumes you are already signed in. If you are setting the account up from scratch, start with Getting Started.

What's in here

Getting Started explains how the pieces fit together and covers creating your organization. Work Orders is the section you will use most, since it holds positions, operations, materials, and shop-floor scanning. Documents covers what you send out to clients and suppliers: invoices, offers, dispatch notes, and material paperwork.

The other two sections are for upkeep. Managing Data covers companies, inventory, expenses, and the files you have uploaded. Account covers users, roles, billing, and settings.

If you're new

Read Getting Started → Introduction first. It is short, and it explains what a position is and why documents belong to work orders rather than standing on their own.

Next, fill in your organization details, financial settings, and document numbering. You do this once, and every PDF you generate afterwards reads the values from there.

Then run one small job all the way through: create a work order, add a position, complete an operation, and generate an invoice.

If a guide is missing something, use the Contact page in the main navigation and say which page you expected to find it on.
