Financial settings
Set your currency, VAT rate, bank details, and payment terms, reused by every document.
Financial settings hold the money side of your organization: the currency you bill in, your tax rate, your bank details, and your payment terms. Every work order and every document reads from here, so it is worth getting right early. Only an admin can save changes on this page.
The fields
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Default currency | The currency new work orders are billed in: Euro, Serbian Dinar, US Dollar, British Pound, or Swiss Franc |
| VAT rate | The tax percentage applied to invoices and offers. Enter a plain number, so 20 rather than 0.20. |
| Bank account | Your account number, printed on invoices |
| Bank name | Your bank's name, printed on invoices |
| Payment due days | How many days a client has to pay. An invoice's due date is worked out from this. |
| Invoice footer note | Free text printed at the bottom of every invoice |
Press Save changes to store them. The button is greyed out until you change something, and a message confirms the save.
Currency is copied onto each work order
A work order takes a copy of your currency and VAT rate at the moment it is created, and keeps that copy. Set this page up before you create work orders, because changing the currency later does not fix jobs that already exist.
Everything here can be changed later. Documents you generate afterwards pick up the new values, but documents already issued keep what they were made with.
