Company details
A company's record and its work orders, with the form for editing its details.
Open a company with the Details button on the companies list. The page has two parts: the jobs you have done for the company, and the company's own record with a button to edit it.
The company's work orders
The main area is a list of every work order raised against this company. It is the same table as the main work orders page, scoped to this one client, so you can search it, filter it, and change a job's status or priority in place. The one difference is that you cannot create a new work order from here; new jobs are raised from the main Work Orders page.
The details panel
The panel on the right shows the company's record, grouped for easy reading:
| Group | Shows |
|---|---|
| General | Type, tax ID, registration number |
| Contact | Contact person, email, phone |
| Address | Street, postal code, city, region or county, country |
This panel is read-only. To change anything, use the edit form below it.
Editing a company
At the bottom of the panel, Update company data opens a form with all of the company's fields filled in. Change what you need, including the type, and save. The record updates, and the new details flow through to any document raised against the company from then on.
Editing changes future documents, not past ones
Documents you have already generated keep the company details they were made with. Editing a company updates its record and anything you generate afterwards, but it does not reach back and change paperwork a client has already received.
