Dispatch Note
Confirm delivery of finished parts to the client, with a place for signatures.
A dispatch note goes out with the finished parts. It confirms what was delivered and gives both sides a signed record of the handover. It is built from the job's positions and their quantities, not their prices.
On the form
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Document date | The date on the note. Starts at today. |
| Notes | Free text printed on the note, for anything the delivery needs to say. |
| Positions | A checklist of the job's positions. Tick the ones being delivered; a filter box helps you find them. |
On the document
The note lists the positions you picked with their quantities, your notes, and signature lines for the delivery to be signed off. Because it is about delivery rather than billing, no prices or VAT appear on it.
