Create organization
Enter your company details, registered address, and contact, then confirm a plan to finish setup.
This is the path for the first person from a company. The organization you create here holds every work order, client, document, and colleague that comes after it, and you become its Admin.
If somebody has already set your company up, go to Join organization instead. You do not want two organizations for the same business.
The three forms
After choosing to create an organization, the wizard collects your details across three short screens. Every field is required.

These values print on the documents you generate later, so they should match what your accountant would expect to see on an invoice. You can correct them afterwards in Settings.
The short name becomes your web address
Your short name is turned into the address your organization lives at. Spaces become hyphens and
capitals are lowercased, so "Northside Machining" becomes northside-machining, and every page
your team uses sits under it. Pick something short that you are happy to keep.
Review and confirm
The last screen shows everything you entered together with your plan. There is no separate billing step. Confirming is what finishes the setup.
Check the summary
Go back and fix anything that looks wrong. The details are still just a draft at this point.
Choose your plan
Hobby Shop is free. The paid plans raise the monthly work order and document allowances, the number of clients and users, and your storage.
Confirm
On the free plan the organization is created and you go straight in. On a paid plan the checkout opens first, and you land in the organization once payment goes through.
Closing the checkout is safe
If you close the payment window and come back to try again, you will not end up with two organizations. The wizard notices that yours already exists and reuses it.
Your answers are held as a draft for an hour while you work through the wizard. If you wander off and come back much later, expect to enter them again.
Once you are in
You are the Admin, which means nothing in the organization is closed to you. Three things are worth doing early:
