Join organization

Accept an invitation to an existing organization instead of creating your own.

If your company already uses the platform, you do not create a second organization. You join the one that exists, and you see the same work orders, companies, and documents as everybody else in it.

How an invitation works

An Admin in the organization adds your email address to their invite list. That invitation is tied to the exact address they typed and stays valid for three days.

The invitation does not arrive by email

Nothing is sent to your inbox. The invitation exists inside the platform and is found when you sign up. Ask whoever invited you to tell you once they have added your address, and make sure they used the address you intend to sign up with.

Accepting it

Sign up as normal

Create your account with the exact email address that was invited. Anything else, including a different address at the same company, will not match.

Confirm your email

Enter the six-digit code as described in Create account.

Choose to join

After the code is accepted, the wizard checks for a pending invitation for your address. If it finds one, it names the organization and offers to join it instead of creating a new one.

Accepting takes you straight into the organization. You skip the company, address, and billing steps, because the organization already has all of that.

What you can do once you are in

New members join as Member. That covers day to day shop work: updating statuses and priorities, recording operations, and generating documents. Creating work orders, editing positions, and everything administrative needs a higher role, which an Admin can grant from the organization's user management page.

If it does not work

MessageWhat it means
Invite not found or email mismatchThe address you signed up with is not the one that was invited
Invite already usedSomebody already accepted this invitation
Invite expiredMore than three days passed. Ask for a new one.

In all three cases an Admin can simply create a fresh invitation.
