The materials page
The material stock list — searching, filtering by group and unit, and reading stock at a glance.
Open Inventory → Materials to see your material stock. Each row is one material, with its dimensions and how much you have on hand.
Finding a material
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search | Filters by group, alloy, or dimensions |
| Group filter | Shows only one material group |
| Unit filter | Shows only materials counted in the chosen unit |
The table
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| # | The material number |
| Group | The material group, such as a steel or aluminium grade |
| Alloy | The specific alloy, if noted |
| Dimensions | The material's size, such as a diameter and bar length |
| Stock | How much is on hand |
| Unit | The unit the stock is counted in |
Click a row to open the material and see its details. Use Add material at the top to add a new one, covered next.
